About the Role
Premier HVAC Services is looking for a motivated Install Helper to support our Installation Team. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone who wants to learn the HVAC trade hands-on while working alongside experienced Install Technicians. If you’re reliable, eager to learn, and not afraid of physical work, this role is a great starting point for a long-term career in HVAC.
What You’ll Do
- Assist Lead Install Technicians with residential HVAC system installations
- Carry equipment, tools, and materials to and from job sites
- Help remove old equipment and prepare areas for new installations
- Support ductwork, condensers, furnaces, air handlers, and related components
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Follow safety procedures and company installation standards
- Load and unload trucks and ensure tools/materials are accounted for
- Learn proper installation techniques, tools, and HVAC best practices
What We’re Looking For
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and outdoor conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
- Basic hand tool knowledge is a plus (but not required)
Experience & Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred

Our History
Tim Stenger, our owner and operator, first developed an interest in heating and air conditioning when he was a student at Greencastle-Antrim High School. In 1997 he began to study HVAC through the Franklin County Career and Technology Center. Through his time in the field as a student and apprentice, he found he enjoyed the technical challenges in a hands-on environment. He attended Delaware Technical College to pursue a professional career in heating, ventilation, and cooling. Tim earned an Associate Degree and then worked in the resort region of the Delmarva Peninsula. Such a fast-paced work environment with an emphasis on customer service helped Tim increase his skills even further.
Tim moved back to Greencastle to be closer with his family in 2010. After he noticed the community needed a local HVAC company able to provide on-time quality service, he developed a business plan. In 2012, that plan turned into Premier HVAC Services.
