š§ Position: HVAC Maintenance Technician
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $45,000ā$80,000 per year
Location: Work Locally ā No Long Commutes

šÆ Primary Purpose
As an HVAC Maintenance Technician, youāll be the trusted professional who ensures customer satisfaction through expert maintenance and diagnosis of residential HVAC systems. Youāll deliver top-tier service with integrity, professionalism, and a smileāno installation work required!

š ļø Key Responsibilities
- Conduct seasonal maintenance and system inspections (furnaces, A/Cs, heat pumps, etc.)
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related HVAC issues
- Educate homeowners on system operation and energy-saving practices
- Keep detailed, accurate records of services and materials used
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment on every job site
- Stay informed on emerging HVAC technology and industry best practices

Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of HVAC experience (preferably residential)
- EPA 608 Certification (Type I & II or Universal)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong ability to work independently and efficiently manage service calls
Physical Requirements:
- Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, and outdoor areas
- Able to safely operate ladders and hand/power tools
Reports To: HVAC Supervisor or Service Manager

Our History
Tim Stenger, our owner and operator, first developed an interest in heating and air conditioning when he was a student at Greencastle-Antrim High School. In 1997 he began to study HVAC through the Franklin County Career and Technology Center. Through his time in the field as a student and apprentice, he found he enjoyed the technical challenges in a hands-on environment. He attended Delaware Technical College to pursue a professional career in heating, ventilation, and cooling. Tim earned an Associate Degree and then worked in the resort region of the Delmarva Peninsula. Such a fast-paced work environment with an emphasis on customer service helped Tim increase his skills even further.
Tim moved back to Greencastle to be closer with his family in 2010. After he noticed the community needed a local HVAC company able to provide on-time quality service, he developed a business plan. In 2012, that plan turned into Premier HVAC Services.
